WICKLOW
Wicklow, the 'Garden of Ireland' bounded on the east by sandy beaches and
on the west by lakes and mountains. Monastic site at Glendalough. A short
drive from Dublin Wicklow's mountain and glensoffer some of the most splendidscenery
on the East coast. Walkers will not want to miss completing at least part
of the 'Wicklow Way' a trail which covers glorious forests, old bog roads
and mountainous terrain. The county abounds with pretty villages and country
houses including the impressive scenery and architecture of Powerscourt Desmesne.
