When visiting the local attractions you the can enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of Galway's pubs, music halls, restaurants, theatres, cinema, and art galleries. You can explore the city and its medieval history on guided walking tours or by taking the open topped coach you can extend the tour to the outlining areas of the City. Within easy reach are Swimming, (both indoor and outdoor), golf courses, tennis, pitch and putt, horse riding, fresh water fishing for salmon and trout including sea angling.
Galway city is just 2 km away with frequent bus service direct from you accommodation. With or without your own transport Lisnagree is an ideal base for day trips to explore Galway Bay area from Connemara to the Burren with its lovely mountains, lakes, Abbey and Castles details of which can be found in the local attractions site.
