The Fahy guest house, owned by Sean and Mary, located four miles from Portumna off the R355, extend a warm welcome to all their guests to their country working Farm House. Catering for anglers and families, guests can experience the sunrise and sunset in the peace and tranquility of the beautiful countryside while children play safely. With a large garden for relaxing and plenty of parking off the road we are sure that you will enjoy your stay with us.
We are just 10 mins drive from Portumna town, 1 hour from Galway and 2 1/2 hours from Dublin, with a daily bus serevice to get you there with ease.
With 3 twin and 1 family room all our bedrooms are Ensuite with toilet and shower and are comfortable and warm. There is plenty of hot water and guests may avail of the bath in the house Bathroom as well.

Mary Fahy is renowned for her cullinary skills. Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day and Mary ensures that all her guests are happy, full and set for a day's walking, fishing or driving.
You can choose from a Full Irish (highly recommended after a night in the local) or from a continental breakfast consisting of Croissant, jam, fruit juice and Yogurt. Vegetarians and Vegans are catered for if you let the kitchen know the night before.
For evening meals, Mary cooks some of the best traditional dishes, e.g. Irish Stew, Bacon and Cabbage and many more healthy and filling dishes. All her meals are personally prepared and home cooked and for just €15 it's a bargain.
